First topic message reminder :

Here we can discuss the cities, towns, capitals, dungeons, etc. of Adonia, and hopefully establish basic relations between major locales and basic relative locations.
Refer to /Bios/Smash's Bios/Misc/Adonia Topic Name for places that have already been named. We might start with those, I think.

The kingdom spans the continent.

To quote Smash: "Drachurst- The Kingdom Full of Beginnings

An expansive continent on the west- the largest continent in the world, in fact. Prosperous and teeming with life, this kingdom is home to many warriors, scientists, farmers, and even just normal villagers toiling about. Although the climate is usually one of fairly mild weather, the king's castle is abnormally cold for whatever reason. It is likely the most advanced part of the whole world, in terms of technology and magical development."

Drachurst is just the country, not the continent, isn't it?

Another question that brings up would be: How many other countries on the continent? But that's for after.

A southern port works for me, as the ruler of said port, but would there be any coast on the other sides, even just for a small stretch before the borders?

I thought Smash was saying Drachurst was a continental country and the other countries would be on other continents.

I just thought Drachurst was the largest and most advanced country on the continent, which was the known world at this point :v

Also, seafaring is known to be a major thing, so more continents would definitely have been found.

There ARE bordering countries, though. Because there is one in Cecily's backstory... Which I got approved from Smash before writing.

I'm not calling anybody a moron.

Everybody has a different understanding of something because there is no map, just vague and sometimes-conflicting statements.

The only person who is an authority on this subject is Smash, and we should wait for him to clear this up.

One way to justify this would be to say that Drachurst, winning the war, captured Liemen and thus became the continental body. Possibly.

In that case, what's the name of the kingdom? Or does the kingdom share the name with the continent?

There are other continents/nations connected to Drachurst, right? Or is it surrounded completely by water/frontier?

MAYBE a connected nation, but it'd be really, really small comparatively. :v

Can there still be a coastal city up there?

I was planning something to do with a cross between viking and eskimo culture up there.

Yeah. They also fish for a living, so they don't need to do much trade.

How about a distant, only-used-in-histories continent?

Zima - A large continent, across the northern ocean. It consists of four nations, named Vlast, Aberria, Kimika, and Zavičaj. The climate of the continent is very cold, with thick forests and large mountains.
Zavičaj occupies the southern coast, and occasionally sends large ships to trade with Adonia. Kimika is currently warring with Aberria.

I actually thought of an idea for a dungeon and it's probably a dumb idea, but I'm gonna keep talking anyway :v

I had an idea for a sort of underground labyrinth. It would be a dungeon rumored to hold some great treasure, but only few have ever returned, and they did so empty handed. This labyrinth would be protected by an unseen yet seemingly all powerful entity that narrates your adventures through the dungeon. Following his instructions allows you to escape the labyrinth relatively unscathed, but with no treasure to show for it. Disobeying the narrator would lead you down many different paths, but most would just lead you in a circle and get you nowhere. Though there could be one path that actually does lead to treasure and an explanation as to what the hell that place really is.

Most "incorrect" paths would lead you back to the start and give you another chance to follow the narrator's instructions. Many treasure hunters went insane with the idea of treasure and felt if they just played the narrator's "game" one more time, they could eventually find the treasure. Those people ended up dying after so many repeated failures. Others escaped with their lives and never went back. What would YOUR character do? Perhaps they would be the one to finally find the treasure?

Just a basic idea and again, probably a stupid one, but I wanted to share it anyway >_>
