PostSubject: Gregoria's Bookshop   Tue Jun 30, 2015 2:47 am

The bookshop that January Gregoria grew up in and inherited. It sat empty for a while, but it was kept up by family friends and now is running again. A few of those friends run the storefront alongside a few people who are hoping to learn under January, with her checking in from time to time from her workshop.

An oddly designed store, though those are in no short supply in Crystalpine. The front is one of two doors in an out of the building, the other being into the enclosed yard in the back, which also holds January's workshop, set into a wall of the city. The store is the majority of the first floor, with a staircase in the back-right corner leading up to a locked section of rarer books in a smaller square room.

The living quarters are entered right by these stairs, going from under that room to the front, then up to a second floor over the entire store, and another first floor behind it.

3 guests are currently staying with her. Although she seems to recognize them, they don't seem to know her. Or much of anything else, for that matter. Currently, only one of them, a young man, is in. The other two guests have apparently gone to town. Said young man is currently staring at the ceiling from his bed.

January waves a hand in front of his face. "Are you feeling alright today? Remembering anything yet?"

"Yes and no." He replies quickly, somewhat surprised by her sudden appearance.

She sighs. "When did your brother and sister leave? I hope they haven't gotten lost."

"About an hour ago... I think. They should be fine. ... We've been here a while now, haven't we?" He looks to her.

"Yes... A long while. No signs of improvement..." The older woman rubs her eyes, turning towards the window.

"It's alright, it's alright. Nothing you can do about it. But I've done everything I could think of and no improvement.... It's not comforting."

He stares up at the ceiling. "...Do you think we'll ever remember, Nan?" He asks after a moment, calling her by the name he and his siblings seem to have dubbed her with.

She turns back towards him and sits on the edge of the bed, dragging him into a grandmotherly hug. "I sure hope so."

He nuzzles into it slightly before mumbling into her ear "Can you tell me again... About back then?"

"Ok..." He hugs her tightly, almost like a child clinging to their parent after a nightmare.

She pets him like she would have if he were still half the age, shaking from a nightmare. At least they recognized her enough to trust her, she thought. Things could be much worse.

He nuzzles her gently, clearly quite terrified of his current situation.

She rubs his shoulders, wonder why nothing seemed to go right with her family.

"Mhmm. Nothing wrong with me." She stretches a little and stands up, looking out the window again. "I should probably get dinner ready though."
