http://www.denofgeek.us/tv/doctor-who/252271/doctor-who-the-questions-surrounding-series-10-and-beyond

>new spinoff this year
>no new series until next year
>the next series will also be Moffat's last as showrunner
>Chris Chibnall will be replacing him

On Capaldi's status...
http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/peter-capaldi-leaving-doctor-who-7245477
...so chances are the next series will be his last. I think three series per Doctor is a fitting routine anyways sooo

WHO THE FUCK IS CHRIS CHIBNALL THO

Wrote these episodes of Torchwood...
"Day One" (2006)
"Cyberwoman" (2006)
"Countrycide" (2006)
"End of Days" (2007)
"Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang" (2008)
"Adrift" (2008)
"Fragments" (2008)
"Exit Wounds" (2008)

...and these episodes of Doctor Who.
"42" (2007)
"The Hungry Earth" / "Cold Blood" (2010)
Pond Life (2012)
"Dinosaurs on a Spaceship" (2012)
"The Power of Three" (2012)
"P.S." (2012)

He also created the ITV detective show Broadchurch.

/nobody cares

I've heard Broadchurch is good but I have never watched it. I don't remember which episodes of Torchwood those were. Hungry Earth and Cold Blood are the only DW episodes he wrote that I can remember just from the title. Which wasn't a bad set of episodes.

Unless Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was one of the river shooting people episodes?

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was the first episode of the second series of Torchwood - it was basically stuff about Jack's return to the group after the events of the series 3 finale of Doctor Who and them meeting one of his former lovers.

I watched an episode of Broadchurch earlier and it was...okay? I guess? Not exactly something I'd think of when talking about Doctor Who, even with all the shared actors.
