First topic message reminder :

The exterior of this place is unimpressive. It appears as a simple cave with two entrances closed off by stone doors, though they lead to the same place. There's a plaque in between, but the ancient text is too faded to read. The interior however remains a mystery as it's ever changing.

"Wait. Not what I wanted? Then there's no Gungnir here."
Freya quietly growls to herself, putting her spear on her back, and turns to leave. "Looks like I'm done here..."

"I'd love to let you out of here, but I genuinely don't know where the exit is anymore. Usually the only way to leave is to complete the story, but I don't know where it is anymore. I'm afraid if you want to leave, your best bet is to help me look for it. I don't want you stuck here anymore than you want to be."

"Y..." She sighs, pressing her hand to her face. "You might want to take note of these things for the future..."
Bracing herself for a long stretch of stone walls and jabber, she pushes the closest door open.

"For the record, this has never happened before. Perhaps if certain people would just follow the story laid out for them in the first place, this sort of thing wouldn't happen. Now I've been mapping this out as we went along, and I believe this stretch of halls and doors just lead back to the main chamber. None of these doors actually seem to go anywhere. In fact that door you're opening right now- yep, here we are."

"You're telling me. To see my beloved story in shambles like this...oh..."
He sighs, very clearly distraught. "Okay...well if I restart, it's got to be better than this. Let's give it a shot, why not?" Freya blacks out again and instantly wakes back up again in the starting chamber.

"I need to work out the kinks in the reset system, but after the next reset, it should be much faster and less dizzying. Though hopefully we won't need to restart again. Let's just pick this up from the top. If the doors are normal again, I need you to follow my instructions to the letter. Only then can we get you out of here, and we can both move on with our lives."

"Good. Now that we have established trust between ourselves, we can properly work together to get you home. Now let's start off by walking out of this chamber as normal."

They come to a...dead end. "Okay yep. It's worse. Maybe I'm remembering this wrong...? I suppose it's possible the story is back where we just came from. Why don't we go back the other direction and see if we missed anything?"

She turns around, making very damn sure to look for anything suspicious on the way back.

Back at the starting chamber, a new door seems to have appeared where there clearly wasn't one before. "Aha! I knew we had missed something! The story! Here it comes..."

Nothing to gain from commenting on every little inconsistency and mistake at this point. Freya couldn't help but even have a small suspicion that all of this was intentional. But for now, all she could do was proceed through the door.

As she walks through the door, the hall seems to wind unnaturally before coming to yet another dead end. "No, wait, nevermind, not the story! Okay, let's head back the other way and retrace our steps. We must have missed something..."

As she walks back, she suddenly winds up in a different area altogether. It appears to be an abandoned office building. "Now this...well I'll be honest, I don't recognize this place at all. Is this the story? I don't think so. I can't quite recall, but I think my story took place in an ancient temple...is that correct?"

"Hmm...this is all too strange...you know what? I have an idea. Since I've completley forgotten what we were supposed to be doing, how about this. YOU WIN! Congratulations!" The sound of cheering can be heard as a whiteboard with "You Win!" written on it in red marker drops from the ceiling along with some gold coins. "I know you put in a lot of hard work, and it really shows. So, good job. ...Is it over?"

"Hmm...still missing the doors, so I guess not. Besides, I don't feel right about this at all. We both know you didn't put in any actual work for that win. Some people win fair and square, and this was not one of those situations. Okay, I'm getting weirded out by whatever this place is. I don't care what might happen this time, I have to restart." Story resets.

Freya doesn't bother complaining, but she does grip her head again, looking rather surly.

Something is different this time. Now there's a big yellow line on the floor. "Alright, I've got a solution. This time to make sure we don't get lost, I've employed the help of The Freya Parable Adventure Line! Just follow the line. How simple is that!"
