Kaarme has an extremely long, but slender body, reaching about 22ft when just measuring the snake portion. Her human half, however, is markedly different from the garnet-colored scales. She has a respectably toned figure, with strong hips and a decent waist, but a noticable flatness in a certain area. Her arms have a sort of whipcord strength to them, and by her nature as a lamia, she is of course strong. Her hair is a deep green, and her eyes are a bright sky blue, almost perfectly matching the actual sky.
She often wears a bright red bandanna over her hair, and keeps her hair tied in the back.
She wears lighter varieties of clothing, usually two-layered overshirt/undershirt combos. She wears a kind of cross between a sash and a skirt where her body transitions to scales, for obvious reasons.
Kaarme would like to describe herself as quirky and odd, but really, she's just old and experienced enough to know how to mess with people. She often makes strange jokes and remarks, though nothing offensive or rude. She is a kind person, albeit extremely greedy once finances are involved. If she feels she can get away with it, she'll attempt to sell a person out of all of their pocket change, and the people around them as well.
Kaarme is incredibly motherly and caring towards her family, and is very fair about her status as matriarch, having yet to show any kind of favoritism. Her husband and triplets will ALWAYS come first in all matters, and she tends to take most of the burdens on herself, refusing to ask for help when she feels she doesn't need it.
Hailing from a desert lamia village, she left after a spat with her mother and sisters about how she led her life. She went to pursue her dreams of becoming a merchant, and very quickly became one of the most notorious peddlers in Adonia.
Along her travels, she met a lizardmen hunter named Adam Venator.
Not long after, they were married, and expecting children.
Not much longer after that, they became the proud parents of triplets, Helistin, Kylma, and Asteikko. A son, a daughter, and another son.
Spending some time staying in one place for the first time in years, they brought them up with the finest of economic and moral educations, before setting off once more as an entire merchant family, ready to ply the marketplaces of the world.
Kaarme is one of the most skilled merchants in the world, able to haggle beyond most mortal men, and able to strike deals that none would dare dream of.
She is a skilled economist as well, and can accurately predict how the market will change in the next several months or so.
Kaarme's a decent magician as well, able to cast a variety of utility spells, some of her own design.
It might not be much of a stretch to call Kaarme a genius, actually.
