First topic message reminder :
A large mansion in the middle of (BLAH) Forest, it is rumored to have stood on this land since before the first trees grew in the area. The outside has a rustic look, with ivy climbing some of the walls in a tasteful manner. It seems it may have been put there intentionally, decades past.
The inside, while gigantic, is very well kept. It has a sprawling underground, with only the residents really knowing how many rooms there may be. The largest, however, is the library. The hall of records for all things necromancy, or related to such. Painstakingly gathered by the family over the years, it also includes incident reports for a myriad of things. There is no way someone could go through it all in their lifetime. Even walking the long and short of it in a day is taxing, ignoring all of the vertical space. Near the entrance are two weapon stands, labeled "Ouroboros" and "Scheherazade". Weapons forged by the smith Kuro generations ago to help the family in their efforts to keep the undead in check, and serve the good of the nation. The halberd Ouroboros hangs on its rack, barely touched for years. Scheherazade's rack, however, is empty, as Amelia Rideps has taken it as her weapon of choice.
Despite the cleanliness, there are drastically fewer living here than there were not too long ago. Many of the servants, created over the generations, were unmade recently. There are more guests than workers now, though they help out. Several of the bedrooms are left eerily undisturbed, as well. And another goes unused for long stretches, and then is torn to pieces before sitting empty again.
